I will be offering my usual Event Sketches!  They can be portraits, fan art, original characters, so long as I like the request! COST is £10-£20 for A4 in either pencils, inks or full colour and can take around 30mins - 60mins depending on how busy the event is and whether I get interrupted a lot! If you want this sort of sketch from me you better come by my table early as the slots sell out FAST.

I will also be cosplaying Satsuki from Kill La Kill on Saturday and Sunday, so you are very welcome to swing by the table and grab a quick photo with me if you like, hehe.

It seems we got off to a bad start last time, I want to apologies for that. Anyway, I have written a manga and am loking for an artist as I am unable to draw it myself.

How much does it cost to produce per manga/comic page?

Yes. But for a whole book, I may change my page rate to reflect circumstances such as high royalties.

How much are we talking here?

e.g. 200 pg book, I may discount my rate by about 10-50% or so if I'm paid upfront an advance on royalties of a few thousand £. But like I said, it changes a lot depending on the size and scale of the project, who I am working with, every one is different!

Is this helpful for you? Are you trying to figure out how much to charge someone? Or are you trying to hire me? You are being a bit abrupt.

I normally charge anywhere from £50 to £300 depending on the style, finish, deadline and number of pages :)

Konnichiwa, Sonia-sensei! I've got your book- Draw manga: Complete Skills. It's really good! And you're a very good drawer! I need to practice now so I can also be a good drawer ^^ But people say it even now. Still, I need to practice. (and find time to post my artwork, 'cause I have a lot of drawing which are not in my dA gallery yet...) So, thank you very much for writing that book. :tighthug:

Hi there Sonia sensei. I was wondering if I could ask u 4 sum advice. Lately, I've hardly been getting any comments on any uv my artworks n haiku or even any critiques at that. N seeing other artworks like yours with nearly or even over a hundred comments I just can't get that far with mine. How can I get even more comments on my work like u?

Haha, I get barely any comments on my own artwork these days, not even a dozen on most, unless it's really detailed! So I'm afraid I can't really help you there, I don't know what makes people comment.
