She will be in one of my fantasy comics to come, but she will also be featured in a watercolour tutorial in one of my upcoming drawing books ^^

Watercolours and fine point brushes (Windsor & Newton), masking fluid (Masquepen), salt and pencil (0.3 Graphgear Pentel) on HP grain satiné St Cuthbert's Mill Saunders Waterford paper. Only the border at top/bottom is digital.

She is like a Mother Goddess in my story, so I intentionally made her very womanly and voluptuous. I also wanted to present her in a classical pose.

Hope you enjoy ^^

I can't wait to read this fantasy comic. Whatever it will be it's going to be awesome. I also agree with Di-san it dies remind me of greek portraits.

It will be in a Brush With Magic, my fantasy comic. There is a dark goddess as well, and epic storyline :D

She's very pretty! Is this really done by hand? It's so beautiful! How do you use salt to draw with?

I think you did the eyelashes a little thick though :p

Yup, all documented in stages for an upcoming book I'm working on. Pencils, masking fluid, then washes.

Salt was sprinkled near the butterflies to get the glowy patterns in the paint ^^

LOL, yeah, her eyelashes are a little crazy, but she is a Goddess so she's allowed to be over the top in everything XD
